'WILDFIRE ROAD' - Level 3, year 1 Acting (NT Connections)
A story about a generation whose future has been hijacked. The whole play takes place on a
flight from London to Tokyo. There's a hijacker on board and the flight is re-directed to Siberia
and in the process could save the lives of all 416 people on board, as the rest of the world is engulfed
in a massive wildfire. It's metaphorical, prophetic and a tale for the most important question of
our times - are we going to wake up and address the climate emergency before it's too late?

Every year, Connections commissions new plays for young people to perform. The programme brings together some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow. In 23/24, we worked with over 250 youth companies from every corner of the UK.
Connections is open to any company of young people aged 13-19, and up to 26 years old for groups with additional needs. You can be a school, a youth theatre or voluntary organisation. You can have lots of experience staging plays or none at all. Whoever you are, your group can apply to be part of Connections.

- Please use the rear College entrance for Fletchers Theatre and Restaurant near the steps for the Contemporary.
- Please have your e ticket ready to be scanned on entry.
- How to find your e tickets – open the email from Ticket Source entitled ‘Your Booking Confirmation’ (not the emails for a receipt or reminder). Scroll down and click the orange ticket icon, this will open all your e tickets ready to be scanned for entry.
